DamN EGG-THROWING INCIDENT!!
okay...every body is now in to this "egg-throwing" incident done by some critical UP students to General Esperon. This issue is currently creating sizzling issues and debates from the country down to UP itself.

I myself personally doesn't see anything wrong with what those critical students did to General Esperon. Why? General Esperon is the AFP Chief of Staff, it has been three months when two UP students Karen Empeno and Sherlyn Cadapan had been abducted and up to now, no news about their whereabouts had been heard. It is one of General Esperon's duty to at least even do something for the welfare of those two UP students but General Esperon hadn't done anything for those students. Yes, it is an open secret that those students were critical of the government but still, they are citizens of our country and still, it is in their jurisdiction to do something for them. The mere fact that the PNP-AFP didn't do something about that issue is one damn reason why students should appeal into that kind of protest.

What was the military up to? As far as the military is concerned, it is their duty to PROTECT and SERVE the FILIPINO PEOPLE. Again, protect and serve the FILIPINO PEOPLE not protect and SERVE THE INTEREST of those who are in the position or those who are in the RULING CLASS! Why? isn't it funny that when the child of a well-known personality or businessman had been abducted, the military would be very eager to help in solving the issue, they would always be in front of the scene and moreover, be very courageous to face everything just to save the life of that abducted child. But why is that when those two UP students were abducted, neither the PNP nor the AFP had volunteered themselves to help in solving the case? Isn't it very disappointing for the COMMON PEOPLE to see that kind of justice her in the Philippines? Worse, to see that the institutions that are supposed to be protecting them are the ones who are committing such crimes into the filipino people. A very saddening yet a truthful reality.

One factor why students are now resulting into such actuations are simply also because of them; when students are practicing the so-called "right" manner of protestation, what the military and authorities were doing? Isn't it very clear that they are stopping them by continuous dispersions and worse, political killings? If the society will continue to stop the democratic form of protest, then, authorities should not be surprised to see more and more eggs being thrown into our government officials and much better to PGMA herself!

I still stand to what I believe is true and right. May I use Gen Esperson's word to butt him off...

"Hindi sapat na maging isang MABUTING ESTUDYANTE, dapat maging isang MABUTING MAMAMAYAN ka rin"..

Thank u Esperon for that vey wonderful word of wisdom. May those words awake u from sleeping!
